Police establish helpline for victims of terrorism in Awantipora | KNO

Srinagar, Jul 01 (KNO): In a significant step toward providing timely support and assistance to victims of terrorism, Police on Tuesday established a dedicated cell at the District Police Office Awantipora to facilitate the registration of grievances by families affected by terrorism within the jurisdiction of Police District Awantipora. Affected individuals can reach out on 01933-247702 on every Monday to Saturday between 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, a police spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). Meanwhile, the statement reads that J&K Police is fully committed to extending every possible support and will promptly share the collected information with the concerned authorities for appropriate action—(KNO)
